school
I'm a senior in college studying computer science. I'm particularly interested in
natural language processing (and more generally machine learning / AI). I'm also super
hyped for the future of augmented and virtual reality, although I don't plan
to actually do work in those fields.
scores
If standardized tests from high school mean anything to you,
I got a 2390/2400 on the SAT, a 36/36 on the ACT, and 5s on 14 different AP tests.
I was the salutatorian at my competitive high school with a GPA of 4.7 on a scale where an A+ (97-100) was a 4.0 in regular classes, 4.5 in honors, and 5.0 in AP (and A's were 93-96 and worth 0.2 less X_X).
I was also a two-time AIME qualifier and won a number of coding competitions.
stuff
I've worked on a number of fairly extensive projects. They have varied
in success, a couple reaching hundreds of thousands of users and most much more modest.
I also enjoy doing a bit of stock trading in my free time and have had
pretty solid results.

LANGUAGES
I super enjoy learning languages. These are ones I know so far:
- English (native, no surprise there I hope haha)
- Chinese (semi-native... I speak it at home about 70% of the time, but I can't read or write much)
- French (advanced - pretty strong grasp of grammar, weaker grasp of advanced vocabulary)
- Japanese (intermediate-ish; I can read and understand quite a lot but struggle to form my own sentences)
- Korean (started very recently so I can pronounce the words and that's about it)
HOBBIES
Some of the other stuff I'm into:
- Art History & Drawing
- Gaming (although it's hard to find time nowadays...)
- Music (I've played the violin for nearly 15 years)
- Cooking
- Entrepreneurship
